RIDING LESSONS
Tamrac's Introduction to Riding Program
Designed for those with no or little previous experience, this program is run in ten lesson sessions.
This includes basic instruction on handling horses as well as the opportunity to experience both English and Western riding, working walk/trot with the goal towards perfecting skills and position for the basic canter.
Morgans are horses best known for their athleticism and versatility. TamRac Ranch offers lessons in a variety of different disciplines, including: English Pleasure, Saddleseat, Hunter, Jumping, Western Pleasure, Showmanship and Driving!
Lessons are $35.00 per hour with private lessons available upon request at $40.00 for 30 minutes (pricing does not include G.S.T.).
New students are required to purchase a ten lesson package, we find that riding requires commitment for success!
Beginner
Beginner classes include grooming and tacking your horse, the walk, the trot and the basic canter. Teaching the basic fundamentals of horse care is essential for building a strong relationship and comfort with your horse.
Advanced
Advanced classes are focused on preparing the horse and rider for the show circuit and competition. TamRac Ranch shows at Morgan breed shows in Edmonton, Red Deer, Ponoka, Olds and more.
